As a continuation of the “Research and Heritage Restoration” project, conducted in 2021-2022 as part of the DIM MAP, the “Methodologies and practices of research in restoration ” project aims to:

  • implement actions identified through exchanges with heritage conservators-restorers and the survey conducted in 2021 concerning the involvement of professionals in research projects;
  • communicate about the activities of the DIM by scheduling study days on specific themes and via various publications (proceedings and articles);
  • participate in the Working Group devoted to the theme of “Research and Restoration”, the objective of which will be to set up a permanent mechanism that responds to a need clearly identified by conservators-restorers.
