Summary :

The objective of this project is to automate two significant steps that must currently be performed manually when setting up an experiment on the tomograph of the PSICHE beamline of Synchrotron SOLEIL. The first step will be to implement an automatic filter support with a range of filters corresponding to different pink beam configurations. The second is to motorise the tilt adjustment of the granite table on which the instrument sits. Motorising these two elements will greatly reduce the time required to setup up an experiment and make the instrument easier and safer to use for non-expert users. The time saved in changing between configurations will allow test measurements for the DIM PAMIR community to be performed more easily, aiding the preparation of successful proposals for beamtime.
